Don’t miss out! Continuing our series, let’s take a final look at the shows that are set to close during the rest of January:
Closing this Sunday, January 22
Oh, Hello on Broadway:
Following a phenomenal Off-Broadway run and national tour, hit comedians John Mulaney and Nick Kroll have finally brought their beloved characters (George St. Geegland and Gil Faizon, respectively) to Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre. First appearing on Comedy Central’s Kroll Show, the hilarious, 70-something New Yorkers took television and the internet by storm before coming home to the Big Apple to conquer the stage. Catch these two before they say, “Oh, goodbye!”
Next up at the Lyceum Theatre: The Play That Goes Wrong is set to open on April 2, 2017.
Closing Sunday, January 29
The Front Page:
One of the most successful plays of the 20th Century, The Front Page returned to the Great White Way for the first time this century at the Broadhurst Theatre in October of 2016 for a strictly limited engagement. Featuring an all-star cast (including Nathan Lane, John Goodman and John Slattery among many others), this mile-a-minute comedy tells the story of a tabloid reporter in a Chicago newsroom who’s trying to get out of the business…just as a major story breaks! With a boisterous, rapid-fire script that’s just as relevant as ever, it’s no wonder this production has been one of the most talked-about hits of this Broadway season!
Next up at the Broadhurst Theatre: Anastasia is set to open on April 24, 2017.
