We are thrilled to be celebrating 10 years in business today, April 13th, 2017!
Founded in 2007 by Broadway Producer Ken Davenport, the company has sold more than 212,500 tickets since its inception, totaling over $17,000,000 in Broadway ticket sales. Your Broadway Genius sales representatives have processed over 10,000 bookings for groups from every state in the country, as well as internationally.
Ken Davenport says, “I founded Your Broadway Genius to help sell tickets to my very first Off Broadway show, and I’m so proud that my team has been able to expand it to help folks from all over the world see Broadway shows. We know getting tickets to shows can be a daunting experience for consumers, especially groups, which is why our mission is to get people the best tickets at the best prices without the drama. We leave that for the stage.”
Led by Group Sales Director MaryCatherine Sughrue, Your Broadway Genius offers a speedy ticketing process, flexible payment options, and highly personalized customer service. In addition to saving up to 50% off retail ticket prices, Your Broadway Genius clients can also take advantage of talkbacks and workshops with Broadway performers, as well as Broadway walking tours with certified tour guides.
“There is nothing like sitting in a Broadway theatre, full of anticipation and wonder as the lights dim and the curtain rises. Providing services that help groups from around the country experience that magic is my passion. It’s why we do it.” says Ms. Sughrue.

This season’s hit revival of the iconic Broadway musical Miss Saigon is the perfect show for student groups! It addresses universal themes of love and sacrifice, teaches new audiences about the tragedies and ramifications of the Vietnam War, and is one of the most spellbinding musicals on Broadway! To ensure that students get the most out of their experience seeing the show, producers, along with Southgate Education, have released the official Miss Saigon Education and Resource Guide! This free and extremely informative companion to the musical provides students with detailed but accessible information on the context of the show, as well as analyses of its themes and history. In addition to the background and historical information, the guide also provides thoughtful prompts, activities, and discussion questions to actively engage students in the material.
In Miss Saigon, the composers of Les Misérables adapt Puccini’s Madama Butterfly into a tragic Vietnam War love story. In the last days of the Vietnam War, 17-year-old Kim is forced to work in a Saigon bar run by a notorious character known as The Engineer. There, she meets and falls in love with an American G.I. named Chris, but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. For 3 years, Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he’s fathered a son

Breaking news, Broadway lovers! Next season’s revival of Ahrens and Flaherty’s Once on This Island has just announced an international casting search to find the production’s heroine, Ti Moune. There will be open call auditions in seven major cities throughout the United States and Haiti! Original Ti Moune and Broadway favorite LaChanze (If/Then, The Color Purple) made a video to announce the search! Watch the video below and then go to their website to find out how YOU can audition to star in next season’s revival.
Once on This Island is the Broadway musical celebration that sweeps us across the sea to a small village—where, in the aftermath of a great storm, a joyous new life begins.
It is the tale of Ti Moune, a fearless peasant girl who falls in love with a wealthy boy from the other side of the island. When their divided cultures threaten to keep them apart, Ti Moune, guided by the island gods, sets out on a remarkable quest to reunite with the man who has captured her heart.
Bursting with Caribbean colors, rhythms and dance, the story comes to vibrant life through the score by Tony Award® winners Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens (Anastasia, Ragtime). The striking production by Tony Award-nominated director Michael Arden (Spring Awakening revival) transforms the reality of a tropical village devastated by a storm into a fantastical world alive with hope.
Come and gather around for Once on This Island—a triumph of the timeless power of theater to bring us together, move our hearts, and help us conquer life’s storms. This is why we tell the story.
